KNITTING 101 (2 sessions) BEGINNER Saturday, September 11 & 18---10:30am-12:30pm Monday, October 4 & 11 10:30am-12:30pm OR 7-9pm Tuesday, November 9 & 16---7-9 Monday, November 29 & December 6 10:30am-12:30pm OR 7-9pm Yes, the holidays are sneeking up quickly and you can knit some holiday presents AFTER you have learned how to knit!! In this 2 session class learn the basics of knitting and at the end of the 2nd session, you can start your first project! FEE - $40 Supplies additional CROCHETING 101 (2 sessions) BEGINNER Wednesday, September 15 & 22---7-9pm Saturday, October 2 & 9---10:30am-12:30pm Monday, November 1 & 8 10:30am-12:30pm OR 7-9pm Tuesday, November 30 & December 7---7-9pm The great “thing” about crocheting is that it works up quickly! If you know how to knit, you SHOULD learn how to crochet.-- even if it’s the basics!! Crocheting is fun. Come take the class and see!!! At the end of the 2nd session, you will start you first project! FEE - $40 Supplies additonal SOCKS - SOCKS -SOCKS (3 sessions) INTERMEDIATE & UP Tuesday, September 14, 21 & 28---7-9pm Saturday, October 16, 30 & November 6 10:30am-12:30pm Sock knitting is VERY popular!! They use sock yarn for everything from socks to shawls....but we’re gonna learn how to create them using worsted weight yarn so that your sock is completed by the end of the 3rd session! They’re like eating potato chips....you can’t knit just one pair!!! You’ll get hooked like the rest of us!! SEE OUR MODELS! FEE - $60 Supplies additional KNITTING 201 (2 sessions) BEGINNER& UP Thursday, September 23 & 30---7-9pm Wednesday, October 20 & 27---7-9pm Saturday, November 13 & 20 --- 10:30am-12:30pm If you had taken our Knitting 101 class, now it’s time to learn more--increase, decrease, cable, slipping stitches, yarn overs, picking up stitches, fixing stitches, sewing seams AND more! Time to get out of your “comfort zone?” I think so too!! Bring to first session: cast on 20 stitches using a light color yarn on size 7, 8 or 9 needle. Stockinette stitch for 5 rows. Bring to second session: (4) 4x4 knitted swatches in stockinette stitch using light color yarn—also bring a yarn needle. FEE - $40 Supplies additional 2 NEEDLE CHRISTMAS STOCKING (1 session) ADVANCED BEGINNER & UP Wednesday, September 29---7-9pm Tuesday, October 12---7-9pm Wednesday, November 3---7-9pm Saturday, November 27---10:30am-12:30pm Did you ever want to make something just to prove to yourself you could? Well, that’s what happened with this stocking! I took a 2 needle sock pattern and converted it into a 2 needle stocking pattern (with some help from a friend...thanks Ronnie!) This really is simple and it can be knitted up quickly. Want to make an ornament too!? NO problem!! SEE OUR MODEL! THERE IS PRE-KNITTING TO BE DONE, SO PLEASE COME IN AND PICK UP THE INSTRUCTIONS. You will need size 10/14” knitting needles or circular needles. FEE - $20 Supplies additional CROCHET SQUARE TO LAP ROBE (1session) ADVANCED BEGINNER & UP Saturday, September 25---10:30am-12:30pm Wednesday, October 13---7-9pm Monday, November 15---10:30am-12:30pm OR 7-9pm It’s unbelievable that you can take a crochet square pattern and convert it into a lap robe (or even a baby blanket like I did!) That’s how easy crocheting can be---make adjustments!! If you want to learn how to crochet in the round and have never tried, try it now!!! Makes a GREAT gift!!!! SEE OUR MODEL! Bring to class: Size G or H crochet hook FEE - $20 Supplies additional ENTRELAC SCARF (1 session) ADVANCED BEGINNER & UP Monday, September 20---10:30am-12:30pm OR 7-9pm Tuesday, October 19---7-9pm Wednesday, November 10---7-9pm E-N-T-R-E-L-A-C (pronounced on-tra-lock) is a form of knitting where your stitches look like basketweave. This pattern is the best I have ever seen because it is written so well! You can use any yarn you love, regardless of the weight! Check out our shop model and see----it looks harder than it really is!!! YARN SHOULD BE PICKED OUT AHEAD OF SCHEDULED CLASS SO YOU KNOW WHICH NEEDLES TO BRING. It doesn’t have to be a Christmas or Chanukkah decoration.....it can be hung on any ornament hanger that sits on a table and be displayed throughout the year!
