YARN TASTING PARTY


Tuesday, July 13, 7-10pm
 
We held our first YARN TASTING PARTY, Tuesday evening, July 13 and everyone had lots of FUN!!    All  received a coupon for a FREE DRAWING and everyone went home with either a knitting book, gadget or yarn!!!   As you can see in the pictures, our "guests" received a pail filled with 10 varieties of yarn, nail file, hand sanitizer, a pad and pen. 
 
Three games were played....one of them was where you had to unscramble needlework, knit and crochet terms.  That's why everyone has their heads down trying to figure out the words.  Boy, did I have fun watching them try to figure those words out!!
 
Throughout the shop, there were stations with plates of other yarns for our guests to "sample."   They got to experience other delicious yarns!
 
So, the next time we have our annual YARN TASTING PARTY,  be sure to sign up so you too can experience the experience!
 






A STITCHER'S HAVEN would like to WELCOME you to our refurbished  website!!    We are still developing and adding products to the site, so if you are looking for a particular product and don't see it,  then please contact us.  Our shop, which just turned 30 years old  is a  full service needlework shop that carries knitting, crocheting and needlepoint and classes are offered, plus we have daily stitch-ins and a nightly stitch-in on Thursdays.   The shop offers sweater finishing, as well as finishing of needlepoint.    We frame needlepoint, cross stitch or anything else that you can think of --- wedding, graduation pix, etc.  So if you live in South Florida OR you're just visiting our wonderful state, come on in!  You won't be disappointed!!!

KAMP-4-KIDS


During the months of July and August, we will be hosting KAMP-4-KIDS.  The kamp is designed to help our girls and boys from complaining that they have "nothing to do" or "there's no one home." 
 
The schedule is:
Knitting Classes:  Mondays, July 12 and 26; August 2 and 9:  1-2pm
 
Needlepoint Classes:  Fridays, July 16 and 30; August 6 and 13:  1-2pm
 
Cost is Ten Dollars/session plus supplies
 
We are partnering with PAPER NICHE, our local scrapbooking/gift shop located a few doors down from us.  They too have a schedule of events planned.
 
Ages 7 and up will be guaranteed a "great time."
 
Our first KNITTING KAMP CLASS - our Kampers will be making their own knitting needles!!!
