Stitchers Haven - Newsletter

Dear Friends,
      We were very fortunate that these past storms, Fay, Gustav, Hanna & Ike didn’t hit us. I guess you can say we dodged a bullet!! The kids are back to school and we’re getting ready for upcoming holidays. With September comes our last newsletter of the year. It’s hard to believe that 2008 is almost over!
      Since going to our June convention, we are awaiting the arrival of more products. In October, we will be getting a trunk show with models from HANDPAINTED KNITTING YARNS. This is one trunk show you will NOT want to miss!!!

     Since this is our last newsletter for the year and the holidays are close at hand, I decided that our classes for this schedule will be geared for holiday gift giving!!! So, keep reading this newsletter to see all our new classes!

Join us for a 4 DAY, 3 NIGHT CRUISE of Fun and Sun!
LESLIE SOLOMON, teacher and shop owner of
FIBER FANTASY KNITTING PRODUCTS will be teaching HOW TO UNDERSTAND COLOR while knitting a multi yarn shawl. Instructions and material list will be provided at a later date, but.....be prepared to trade yarns with your fellow students!!!
Leslie promises that you will learn so much at her sessions. Times of class/classes and materials list will also

CRUISE DATE: Friday, March 6 - Monday, March 9, 2009
SHIP: CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE’S IMAGINATION
ITINERARY: Ship leaves the Port of Miami at 4pm. Arrive Nassau on Saturday--ship leaves Nassau on Sunday morning.
Class/classes will be on Sunday while we are out to sea.

Arrive Miami - Monday morning.
PRICE: Inside cabin: $500 per person, double occupancy
Outside cabin: $540 per person, double occupancy
Want to bring a spouse or friend who will not be taking classes?

Deduct $100 per person.
Fee includes cruise, all port taxes, fuel charges and teacher’s fees.

$100 DEPOSIT reserves your room.

Deposit required ASAP to reserve this discounted price.
Balance to be paid by Monday, December 1, 2008.

for our Stitch-In. Can’t make it during the day?
We have another one on Thursday nights from
6:30pm-8:30pm. Come on and join the fun!!!

HANDPAINTED KNITTING YARNS
TRUNK SHOW
For the whole month of October, we will be having a knitting trunk show WITH MODELS, courtesy of HandPainted Knitting Yarns. The products will be kitted and there will be an assortment of shawls, sweaters, entrelac afghans and more!! We will keep you posted. If you want to be called when it arrives, please call the store and leave your name and phone number.
